Recipe for Restaurant-Style Fried Shrimp Flour
Ingredients:300 grams of shrimp1 tsp salt¼ tsp pepper powder1 tsp lime juiceCooking oilWet Coating Ingredients:75 grams of medium protein wheat flour25 grams of rice flour¼ tsp pepper powder¼ tsp baking powder¼ tsp salt150 ml water
Dry Coating Ingredients: 100 grams of medium protein wheat flour, 20 grams of cornstarch, ¼ teaspoon of salt, ¼ teaspoon of pepper powder
How to Make:Preparation of Shrimp:Clean the peeled shrimp, remove the head.Coat the shrimp with salt and lime juice.Let it sit for 15-20 minutes, rinse and set aside.Making the Flour Mixture:Mix all the dry flour mixture ingredients together. Also, mix all the wet flour mixture ingredients.Roll each shrimp in the dry mixture, then dip it in the wet mixture.Roll the shrimp again in the dry mixture until evenly coated, and ready to be fried.
Frying Shrimp: Heat a sufficient amount of cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the shrimp in hot oil until golden yellow and dry. Make sure not to fry too many shrimp at once to maintain the stability of the oil temperature. Lift the cooked shrimp and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
