Director of OLX, Agung Iskandar, said that the used car market is still a choice for people today because the prices are more affordable compared to new cars. "OLX strives to meet consumer expectations by providing various options for verified used cars and also services that make consumers feel safe and comfortable in transacting on the OLX platform," said Agung in his statement, quoted on Monday, December 11, 2023.

OLX is a digital classified advertising platform that is now part of the Astra Group. As of October 2023, out of more than 200,000 choices of used cars advertised on the OLX platform, the three (3) types of cars that are most sought after by consumers are MPV, SUV, and Hatchback.

Meanwhile, for the most popular car colors, there have been no changes compared to the previous year, namely black, white, and silver. "As for the used car trend, it is still not much different from previous years, where the most sought-after price range is between Rp100 million to Rp200 million," added Agung.

Based on Otobarometer OLX data for October 2023, the most sought-after gadgets and electronic items throughout 2023 are mobile phones, household electronics, and computers. They are followed by TVs, audio and video devices, and tablets. There have been slight changes compared to last year's data, where computer searches were in the second position, followed by household electronics.

As for the 5 most sought-after mobile phone brands by OLX consumers in order, they are Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo, and Vivo. This trend is still the same as in previous years. "As for the price range of gadgets and electronic goods that are most sought after, on average around 42% is in the price range of Rp10 million, followed by the price range below Rp1 million around 30% and the price range of Rp1 million - Rp5 million around 19%," said Agung.
