Dream - PT Bank BCA Syariah (BCA Syariah) continues to support business growth in the MSME sector. As of March 2024 or the first quarter of 2024, this BCA entity has disbursed MSME financing amounting to Rp1.9 trillion.
From the composition of financing, BCA Syariah's SME financing reached 20.70 percent of the total financing amounting to Rp9.3 trillion.
The distribution of financing for MSMEs also becomes the largest contributor in the sustainable financial portfolio with a composition of 69.85% of the total sustainable financing recorded at Rp2.7 trillion.
One of the activities initiated by BCA Syariah in supporting the development of women UMKM actors is WEpreneur 2, which has been implemented for four months this year.
BCA Syariah awarded three participants with the best performance. Participant assessment takes into account a combination of three aspects, namely business, sustainability impact, and leadership profile. The recipients of the awards are Adawiyah, founder of Batik Tjakraningrat, Yessie Natasia Mareti from the Fashionistas brand, and Carolina Ardelia from the Calore Art & Crafts brand.
"The three best participants are selected based on business performance, significant impact of their efforts on social and environmental aspects, as well as having outstanding leadership skills and actively sharing knowledge to SME actors in the surrounding community through mentoring activities."

In WEPreneur activity, participants are given preparation to sharpen business ideas, compose business proposals, and present them in an interesting way.
There are 40 supported SMEs called BigSista that have received intensive training through bootcamp classes from experienced industry experts and practitioners. BigSista has also passed on the knowledge gained from the bootcamp sessions through a micro-mentoring program and has successfully conducted 58 micro-mentoring activities, reaching a total of 1,528 other female SME actors as education participants.
From the total participants, BCA Syariah selected 20 chosen BigSistas to participate in the business pitching competition. This activity is part of the preparation program to train the ability of the BigSistas to attract investors to enhance their business scale.
