Dream - The government has announced a direct cash assistance program (BLT) for Food Risk Mitigation amounting to Rp200 thousand per month. This program will be disbursed for three months for the period of January, February, March 2024. The disbursement of BLT is planned to start next month, February 2024, or coinciding with the month of the General Election (Pemilu) 2024. Minister of Finance (Menkeu), Sri Mulyani Indrawati revealed her ministry's support for the assistance program in the form of providing funds worth Rp11.25 trillion.

"If for 3 months it is Rp11.25 trillion, for 18 million (18, million) KPM," said Sri Mulyani at the Ministry of Coordinating Economic Affairs, Central Jakarta, quoted from Merdeka.com, Monday, January 29, 2024."
Although designed for a three-month period, the distribution of the new BLT is planned to be disbursed at once, amounting to Rp600,000. This disbursement takes into account the time constraints of the BLT disbursement.
