Dream - Former North Maluku Governor Abdul Gani Kasuba is involved in a bribery case and is said to often bring women to hotel rooms, spending up to Rp3 billion.
Abdul Gani's behavior, which often involves bringing women, was revealed from the testimony of Eliya Gabriana Bachmid, a member of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) of South Halmahera Regency, who acted as his intermediary with the 'ordered' women.
"I brought those women to Uncle Haji (Eliya's nickname for Abdul Gani) in order to facilitate the project disbursement."

Eliya admits that her role is like a pimp who escorts the requested girls to the hotel where Abdul Gani is staying, such as in Jakarta and Ternate. The estimated cost ranges from tens of millions to 10 million to 50 million Indonesian Rupiah per date. The total amount of funds disbursed to satisfy Abdul Gani's desires reaches 3 billion Indonesian Rupiah. The funds come from three personal accounts that were intentionally opened at Abdul Gani's request.

Seen from the data on the LHKPN KPK page, Abdul reported his wealth on the last LHKPN KPK on May 14, 2023 for the 2022 period. He has a total wealth of Rp6.458 billion. Here are the details: Abdul Gani owns land and buildings worth a total of Rp5.380 billion, which are scattered in Ternate, North and South Halmahera, and South Jakarta.
"He also has transportation equipment and machinery in the form of a Toyota Kijang Inova G car, self-made in 2012, worth Rp75 million. As for other movable assets, they are worth Rp330 million."
Then there is cash and cash equivalents amounting to Rp673,409 million. He does not have any securities, other assets, or debts. So his total wealth amounts to Rp6,458 billion.
