Establishing the Para Group

Chairul Tanjung does not run out of ideas, next he tries the conglomerate business model with three main businesses namely finance, property, and multimedia which he named Para Group. In the finance sector, this Jakarta-born man took over Bank Tugu which is now known as Bank Mega.

Under the Para Group, Chairul ventured into the insurance business. He owns several companies in the financial sector, including Mega General Insurance, Mega Life Insurance, Para Multi Finance, Mega Bank, Mega Capital Indonesia, Mega Syariah Bank, and Mega Finance. In the field of property and investment, these companies oversee Para Bandung Propertindo, Para Bali Propertindo, Batam Indah Investindo, and Mega Indah Propertindo.

While in the broadcasting and multimedia field, Para Group has Trans TV, Trans7, Mahagagaya Perdana, Trans Fashion, Trans Lifestyle, and Trans Studio.
