The achievement of Soekarno-Hatta Airport also fulfills the target of Angkasa Pura II, which previously aimed for Soekarno-Hatta Airport to break into the top 30 best airports in the world.
The following is a list of the world's best airports released by Skytrax, an international air transportation rating organization based in London.
Meanwhile, in the list of the best airports in 2024 in the category of 60 - 70 million passengers per year (Best Airports 2024: 60 to 70 Million Passengers), Soekarno-Hatta Airport ranks 5th in the world.
Skytrax conducts rankings of the best airports in the world through assessments of around 500 airports worldwide, involving customers from over 100 countries to evaluate 44 airport service points.
The President Director of PT Angkasa Pura II, Agus Wialdi, said that being ranked 28th in the world is the highest position in the history of Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
