"Dream - Registration for the Selection of Prospective Civil Servants (CASN) for government employees with employment agreements (PPPK) and prospective civil servants (CPNS) is still ongoing until October 9, 2023."

There are 14 agencies that are open for CPNS applicants. The State Personnel Agency (BKN) reported that the most popular agency so far is the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham). Meanwhile, the agency with the least number of applicants is the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM). This preference refers to the data uploaded by BKN on Instagram @bkngoidofficial regarding the number of applicants who submitted to the agencies that opened CPNS positions.

Kemenkumham is the most popular with a recorded 86,204 applicants. Then, Setjen KPK with 74,547 applicants, the Attorney General's Office with 72,784 applicants, the Supreme Court of Indonesia with 39,034 applicants, Kemendikbud with 16,203 applicants, the National Intelligence Agency (BIN) with 14,820 applicants.

Next, the General Secretariat of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) with 12,763 applicants, the Financial Transactions Reporting and Analysis Center (PPATK) with 5,968 applicants, and the Ministry of Religious Affairs with 1,514 applicants.

Then, the Ministry of Health with 318 applicants, the Ministry of Industry with 175 applicants, BRIN with 112 applicants, the Ministry of Home Affairs with 43 applicants, and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources with 5 applicants. The list of applicants is the result of counting until October 6, 2023, at 12.00 WIB.

Based on the data conveyed by BKN as of October 6, 2023 at 12.00 WIB, the number of CPNS and PPPK registrations are as follows:

CPNS registrants: 960,038
PPPK Teacher registrants: 396,221
PPPK Healthcare registrants: 344,528
PPPK Technical registrants: 620,447

Quoting Liputan6.com, BKN urges CASN 2023 applicants to be cautious of various fraud schemes. It is known that the public can register online on the official page of SSCASN or the Civil Servant Candidate Selection System, which is sscasn.bkn.go.id, until October 9, 2023.

BKN warns to be careful and not be deceived by individuals claiming to be the head of BKN. The head of BKN never asks for personal information through text messages or phone calls. CASN is asked to follow the selection process only through the provided channels.

"If applicants encounter such fraudulent schemes, they can access helpdesk and complaint services related to CPNS 2023 and PPPK through several alternatives, namely helpdesk-sscasn.bkn.go.id; lapor.go.id; and telephone services."
