Dream - Viral confession of a buyer of a Piaggio brand Vespa LX 125 I-GET priced at Rp50 million, claiming that the vehicle is defective even though it is a new unit. Within 3 weeks since the purchase, the Vespa has been continuously breaking down on the road, at every traffic light.

This incident was uploaded by the TikTok account @bella_anggitaa. On May 19, 2024, after 3 weeks of purchase, she admitted that her Vespa died 5 times. "On May 20, 2024, I immediately took it to the dealer, they said it was just an 'error'. So they just reset it and checked the PADS, they said it was fine," she said. However, after that, 4 days later, after returning from the dealer, the white Vespa still remained dead. At that time, the motor's condition had not yet obtained the STNK and BPKB.

"For the second time, on May 25, 2024, this woman decided to 'keep' her Vespa at the dealer. 'The Vespa has not recovered from its illness. Checked PADS twice and still no errors,' she said."

The second check took a week, staying overnight at the dealer. He took back his vespa on May 31, 2024. The mechanic who inspected it said that the cable-socket connector was not fitting properly, causing the vespa to die. However, afterwards, he had to bring his vespa back to the dealer again, for the third time. "On June 2, 2024, the vespa still died and the engine sound was unstable. Complained to the dealer for the third time," he said.

The woman wants to replace the new unit of the Vespa that she bought for Rp50 million. However, the company's decision is not to replace the new unit and it will be rechecked to find the problem with the motorcycle. "I am really disappointed with this decision, even though it was checked manually and there is no error in PADS, but it has a problem of shutting down every time the engine gets hot," wrote this customer.

PT Piaggio Indonesia also spoke out about the incident. PR and Communications Manager of PT Piaggio Indonesia, Ayu Hapsari, stated that they are aware of the issue and apologize for the incident experienced by the buyer from Malang, East Java.
