Kemenag Extends Payment Period for Bipih Phase 1 until February 23, 2024

"Dream - The Directorate General of Hajj and Umrah Organization (PHU) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs extends the deadline for payment of the Hajj Pilgrimage Travel Costs (Bipih) for regular pilgrims until February 23, 2024."

Hajj Quota for Indonesian Pilgrims

This year, Indonesia received a hajj quota of 221 thousand pilgrims. Indonesia then received an additional quota of 20 thousand, making the total number of pilgrims 241 thousand. This quota is divided into 213,320 regular hajj pilgrims and 27,680 special hajj pilgrims.

Kemenag Extends Payment Period for Bipih Phase 1 until February 23, 2024

Anna urges pilgrims who have met the istithaah requirements to immediately settle the cost of their pilgrimage during the extended first stage of payment.

"Similarly, hajj pilgrims who are eligible to fulfill this year's pilgrimage must immediately undergo a health check-up, in order to meet the istithaah requirements and be able to settle the hajj expenses."

"Adjustment of Phase 2 Repayment"

With the extension of phase 1 repayment, the phase II repayment process also undergoes adjustments. Phase II, which was originally open from 5 - 26 March 2024, is adjusted to 13 - 26 March 2024.

               

"Ministry of Religious Affairs officials in the District/City are requested to immediately input the proposed data of pilgrims who will settle in phase II. The deadline for inputting data for the elderly assistance, merging of mahram, and assistance for people with disabilities, which was originally set to end on February 27, 2024, has been adjusted to March 7, 2024."

Anna explained that the payment for phase II will be allocated for four categories, namely: Pilgrims who have not made the payment for the first phase due to system failure; Companions of elderly pilgrims; Pilgrims who are combining with their spouse/children/parents who are separated; Companions of pilgrims with disabilities.
