Prayers to be Read between Two Green Pillars during Sa'i, Complete Arabic and Latin Reading

Dream – As one of the pillars of Hajj and Umrah, sa'i is a series of worship that must not be abandoned by pilgrims.Sa'i is done by running between Mount Safa and Marwah back and forth seven times.

Sa'i, which is undertaken by Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, is to commemorate the struggle and perseverance of Hajar, the wife of Prophet Ibrahim, who ran back and forth to find water for her son Ismail when they were left in the desert of Makkah.

The place of sa'i is located in the area near Masjidil Haram.If you want to perform sa'i, it is advisable for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims to be in a state of ablution (clean) before entering the mosque.On the southeast side of the Kaaba, precisely at the end of Masjidil Haram, Mount Safa is located to start sa'i.

When you arrive at Safa, it is recommended to recite the intention and prayer before starting sa'i.Then the pilgrims start walking towards Mount Marwah.However, at a distance of about 100 meters from Mount Safa, you will find green pillar signs that indicate the beginning of the sa'i worship.

1. Prayer between Two Green Pillars

رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَاعْفُ وَتَكَرَّمْ وَتَجَاوَزْ عَمَّا تَعْلَمُ إِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ مَالاَ نَعْلَمُ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللهُ الاَعَزُ الاَكْرَمُ.

Rabbighfir warham wa'fu wa takarram, wa tajaawaz ammaa ta'lam innaka ta'lamu maa laa na'lamu, innaka antallahul-a'azzul-akram.

Meaning: "My Lord, forgive, have mercy, pardon, be kind, and erase what You know. Indeed, You know what we do not know. Indeed, You are Allah, the Most Glorious and the Most Generous."

2. Prayer before Sa'i

أَبْدَأُ بِمَا بَعْدَ اللَّهِ بِهِ وَرَسُولُهُ. إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِنْ شَعَائِرِ اللَّهِ. فَمَنْ حَجَّ الْبَيْتَ أَوِ اعْتَمَرَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَطَّوَّفَ بِهِمَا. وَمَنْ تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ شَاكِرٌ عَلِيمٌ

Abda-u bimaa ba’dallahu bihi warasuulluh, innas-shafaa walmarwata min sya’aa-irillaah, faman hajjal baita awi’tamara fallaa junaaha ‘alaihi ay-yathawwafa bihimaa waman tathawwa’a khairan fa innallaha syaakirun ‘aliim

Meaning: “I start what Allah and His Messenger have started.Indeed, Safa and Marwah are part of the symbols of Allah's greatness.Whoever goes on Hajj to the House of Allah or Umrah, then there is no sin on him to perform Sa'i between the two.”

3. Prayer while on Mount Safa Facing the Kaaba

للهُ اَكْبَرْ ٣× لَااِلَهَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَ اللهُ اَكْبَرْ، اللهُ اَكْبَرْ وَلِلَّهِ الْحَمْدُ، اللهُ اَكْبَرْ عَلَى مَا هَدَانَا وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى مَااَوْلَانَا لَااِلَهَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَاشَرِيْكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيِ وَيُمِيْتُ بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرِ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْئٍ قَدِيْرٌ

Allahu-akbar 3x.La-ilaha ilallahu wallahu akbar, Allahu akbar walilahil-hamd, Allahu-akbar 'ala mahadana wal-hamdulillahi 'ala ma aulana, La-ilaha ilalloh wahdahu lasyarikalahu lahul-mulku walahul hamdu yuhyi wayumitu biyadihil-khoiri wahuwa 'ala kuli syai-ingqodir

Meaning: “Allah is the greatest 3x, There is no God but Allah.Allah is the greatest, All praise is for Allah, Allah is the greatest, for His guidance and His favors, all praise is for Allah, there is no God but Allah, the One without partners.For Him is the kingdom and praise.He gives life and causes death, in His hand is all goodness, and He is capable of all things.”

4. Prayer on Mount Marwah after completing Sa'i

اللّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا وَعَافِنَا وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَعَلَى طَاعَتِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ أَعِنَّا وَعَلَى غَيْرِكَ لاَتَكِلْنَا وَعَلَى اْلإِيْمَانِ واْلإِسْلاَمِ الَكَامِلِ جَمِيْعًا تَوَفَّنَا وَأَنْتَ رَاضٍ عَنَّا اللّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنِيْ أَنْ أَتَكَلَّفَ مَالاَ يَعْنِيْنِيْ وَارْزُقْنِيْ حُسْنَ النَّظَرِ فِيْمَا يُرْضِيْكَ عَنِّيْ يَاأَرْحَمَ الرَّا حِمِيْنَ.

Allaahumma rabbanaa taqabbal minnaa wa'aafinaa wa'fu 'annaa wa'alaa tha'atika wa syukrika a'innaa wa'alaa ghairika laa takilnaa wa'alal imaani wal islaamil kaamili jami’an tawaffanaa wa anta raadhin ‘anna.Allaahummarhamnii an takallafa maa laa ya'niinii warzuqnii husnan nazhari fii maa yurdhiika 'anni yaa arhamar-raahimiin

Artinya: "O Allah, accept our deeds, grant us good health, forgive our sins, and help us to be obedient and grateful to You. Do not make us dependent on others. Let us die in complete faith and Islam, and may You be pleased with us. O Allah, have mercy on us so that we do not do anything useless. Give us a good view of things that please You, O Most Merciful among those who show mercy."
