Dream - The New SUV Mitsubishi Motors will make its debut at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) on August 10, 2023, at ICE, BSD City, Tangerang.

Previously, the concept of The New SUV Mitsubishi Motors was first introduced at the IIMS 2023 event.

According to Tetsuhiro Tsuchida, Director of Sales & Marketing Division PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI), The New SUV Mitsubishi Motors will meet the expectations and needs of Indonesian society and consumers.

The New SUV Mitsubishi Motors has undergone extensive testing on various terrains and roads in Indonesia, considering Indonesia is the first country where this vehicle will be launched. Its performance has been adjusted to meet the demands of Indonesian consumers.

"I am confident that Mitsubishi SUVs can fit anywhere in any terrain. The New SUV is not intended for the Paris Dakar. This car is developed for the Indonesian market. Indonesia means from Jakarta to all parts of it. This car has four driving modes, one of which is the wet mode. This mode can be adjusted to any road," explained Tetsuhiro Tsuchida in his statement.

4 Driving Modes

The New SUV comes with four driving modes, including the Wet mode which was first introduced in Mitsubishi models, providing a safe and comfortable driving experience in various weather and road conditions in Indonesia.

Next is the Normal mode, which is the standard mode suitable for normal and dry road conditions. This mode is ideal for driving on toll roads or dry and stable asphalt roads. Drivers will experience comfort and stability when the car is in this mode.

Meanwhile, the Wet mode is designed to handle wet, waterlogged, and flooded road conditions. By activating this mode, the SUV will automatically adjust its driving style, allowing the driver to remain comfortable and safe even when passing through water puddles or flooded terrains.

This mode helps improve tire traction on slippery surfaces, reduce the risk of slipping, and provide a safer driving experience during the rainy season.

The third mode is Mud. For true adventurers who love exploring rough terrains, the Mud mode is the right choice. This mode allows the SUV to adapt to muddy and slippery terrains.

With better traction and intelligent power adjustment, drivers can explore forests, mountains, or areas with extreme terrains without worrying about getting stuck.

Lastly, there is the Gravel mode. This mode is designed to tackle gravel or rocky road surfaces. When this mode is active, the SUV's suspension will be specially tuned to provide maximum comfort and stability on uneven terrains.
