The Charm of Indonesian Textiles at the Lombok International Modest Fashion Festival

Dream - The Lombok International Modest Fashion Festival (LIMOFF) held from July 6 to 9, 2023 at Merumatta Senggigi Hotel, Lombok, NTB (West Nusa Tenggara) was a successful event. LIMOFF this year carries the theme "Making Lombok Sumbawa as Gateway to Global Market" and showcases fashion shows from 109 designers.

Featuring diverse styles of modest fashion ranging from conventional to contemporary and syar'i. LIMOFF also provides an opportunity for Dekranasda from various regions to showcase fashion designer collections using superior textiles from their respective regions.

Showcasing NTB's Superior Textiles

As the opening of the fashion show series, LIMOFF 2023 presents a parade of designer works that explore the diversity of NTB textiles and collaborate with superior textile and accessory SMEs from NTB, ranging from Itang Yunasz to OPIE OVIE.

"We hope that from here, from the Nusa Tenggara Barat region, we can start to advance the textiles in our region as part of the rise of Muslim fashion in Indonesia and the world," said the Chairperson of Dekranasda NTB and Founder of LIMOFF, Niken Zulkieflimansyah, in a press release received by Dream.

Works of ASEAN Designers

In collaboration with AFDS (Asean Fashion Designers Showcase), the inaugural LIMOFF event also features designs from ASEAN designers. They are Wan Bainun from Malaysia, Dave Ocampo from the Philippines, and Hayden Ng from Singapore.
