"The Council has appointed Indonesia as the host of the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2023," announced FIFA President Gianni Infantino on FIFA's official website, quoted on Saturday, June 24, 2023.

The FIFA U-17 World Cup 2023 itself is planned to take place from November 10 to December 2, 2023. However, FIFA has not yet confirmed whether the implementation of the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2023 will follow the initial schedule.

If the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2023 will still take place according to the previous agreement, it will clash with the Coldplay concert in Jakarta on November 15, 2023.

The Coldplay concert in Indonesia was previously announced by the vocalist Chris Martin in a video on the Instagram account of the promoter, Third Eye Management.

This will be the first concert of the British band to be held at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (GBK), Jakarta.

"Hello, how are you everybody watching in Indonesia?" said Chris Martin.

"We are very excited to announce our first concert in your beautiful country. We will be in Indonesia - in Jakarta on November 15," continued the vocalist.

The Coldplay tickets themselves have already sold out and fans are just waiting for the arrival of the singer of Yellow in the country for the first time.

Previously, Indonesia failed to become the host of the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2023, and this time Indonesia replaced Peru as the host of the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2023, as FIFA deemed that Peru's infrastructure readiness did not meet the requirements.

The FIFA U-17 World Cup is planned to take place from November 10 to December 2, 2023. However, FIFA has not confirmed whether the implementation will follow the initial schedule.

In its announcement, FIFA also appointed Colombia as the host of the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. Then, the Dominican Republic as the host of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup 2024.

"The time frame for each competition will be confirmed in due course," said Gianni.

Then FIFA moved the date of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2023 in the United Arab Emirates from November 16-26, 2023 to February 15-25, 2024.
