Government Holds IKN Logo Contest with Rp185 Million Prize, Lucky Voters Can Get 10 Electric Motorcycles

Dream - The government is once again holding a contest in the development program of the Indonesian Capital City (IKN). After the design competition, this time the government is holding a contest for the selection of the IKN logo with a prize of hundreds of million rupiah.

Out of the 500 designers who registered, 10 designers were selected as finalists and entitled to create the IKN logo design.

The 10 logo designs of the finalists will be submitted to the Indonesian Capital City Authority (OIKN) to be narrowed down to five logos that will be announced to the public.

The public can then participate in choosing the logo from the five selected finalists through the link www.ikn.go.id/pilihlogonusantara starting from April 4 to May 20, 2023.

IKN Logo Prize

The logo with the most votes is planned to be announced directly by President Joko Widodo at the end of May 2023 in IKN.

The design that receives the most votes will be designated as the official logo of IKN and will be entitled to a prize worth Rp185 million. Meanwhile, 10 lucky voters will receive prizes in the form of electric motorcycles signed by Jokowi.

The President Director of PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BNI), Royke Tumilaar, said that the company is proud to support the IKN logo selection program and be part of the nation's history.

"BNI's support for this logo selection activity is one of our commitments to contribute to the project of relocating the Capital City in order to accelerate Indonesia's economic growth evenly," he said.

Ministry of PUPR Allocates Rp10.38 Trillion Fund for IKN, What Will Be Built?

Dream - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) has allocated a budget for the support of the development of the Indonesian Capital City (IKN) this year amounting to Rp10.38 trillion.

The amount was announced by the Directorate General of Cipta Karya of the Ministry of PUPR, which is intended for the development of basic infrastructure in the field of Cipta Karya in IKN this year.

Diana also said that the budget ceiling for Cipta Karya this year is Rp25.03 trillion.

The details of the budget are used for basic drinking water infrastructure amounting to Rp622.5 billion, which is intended for the Development of Water Treatment Plant (IPA) for Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) in Sepaku, the Development of Transmission Pipelines for Drinking Water SPAM Sepaku, the Development of Main Distribution Networks (JDU) and Distribution Networks for SPAM Sepaku Phase I.

Other Infrastructure

As for basic sanitation infrastructure, an allocation of Rp816.4 billion is intended for the Development of Wastewater Treatment Plants (IPAL) 1, 2, 3 in KIPP, the Development of Wastewater Pipeline Networks, the Development of Integrated Waste Treatment Facilities (TPST) 1 in KIPP, and the Development of Residue Disposal Units for IKN Waste Processing.

Furthermore, an allocation of Rp1.26 trillion is made for the development of residential areas, including the Land Development project (Urban Design IA, IB, and IC), the Arrangement of National Axes Phase I and Phase II, the Fire Protection System for KIPP, and the Construction Management (MK) for the development of the Core Area of the Government Center (KIPP).

A budget of Rp7.64 trillion is also allocated for Building Arrangement, which is intended for the development of Government Center Buildings, Presidential Office, Presidential Secretariat Building, State Residence, Coordinating Ministry Building, Ministry of State Secretariat Office Building, Ministry/Institution Office Building, National Mosque, Building and Beranda Nusantara Area, Detailed Plan and Development of KIPP Area.

Furthermore, a budget of Rp40.24 billion is allocated for planning and control, which is intended for Activity Control and Monitoring, Operational Costs of IKN Task Force, and support costs for land acquisition.

Previously, the Ministry of PUPR allocated around Rp99.6 billion to build logistics and material docks in Penajam Paser Utara Regency, East Kalimantan Province, in order to support the development of IKN infrastructure.

The Head of the Transportation Agency of Penajam Paser Utara Regency, Ahmad in Penajam, said that the Ministry of PUPR targets the completion of the logistics and material docks in IKN by the middle of this year.
