Non-Muslim Women Participate in Tarawih Prayers and Are Willing to Buy New Mukena

Even in a viral video on Tiktok, it is reported that a Christian woman also participated in the tarawih prayer, which is a worship of Muslims. She was interested in joining the congregational tarawih prayer at the mosque.

In a video shared on the TikTok account @novia_hasan, the woman is seen sitting with other congregants.

"Christian friend joins tarawih prayer," she wrote in the video caption.

The woman's dedication to participate in tarawih prayer is not trivial. In fact, she bravely bought a new mukena with her own money. The woman seems to really want to worship with full devotion.

"Where is her mukena? She bought it herself, such a great effort even though she went to the wrong place," she said.

Although she has not fully embraced Islam, she seems very enthusiastic about welcoming the month of Ramadan.

She even knows the procedures for prayer and confidently participates in all the rituals.

Her face is radiant while standing in the women's row. Even though she went to the wrong place for worship, it seems she doesn't mind.

The post shared on the TikTok platform has managed to capture the attention of netizens.

They are amazed by the woman's actions and pray that she will receive guidance from Allah. Some also shared similar experiences of converting to Islam.

"When I was a non-Muslim, I often joined in prayer, fasting, and breaking the fast because many of my neighbors were Muslims. Finally, at the age of 16, I became a Muslim," wrote @kuiolivia.

"Don't pressure someone to convert to Islam, let them get to know it comfortably and fall in love with it, they will eventually ask for it themselves. Be good at explaining what they ask," wrote @lowikastore.
