Required 18+! Netizens +62 Can Subscribe to Blue Check Mark on Instagram and Facebook, Check Requirements and Rates

Dream - Verified account or verified Instagram and Facebook accounts with a blue check mark can now be easily obtained. By paying a monthly subscription, users in Indonesia can now transform their accounts to be equivalent to social media accounts of officials, celebrities, and influencers. 

This service was previously available to netizens in Australia, New Zealand, and the United States.

Instagram and Facebook users in the country can have the blue check mark by subscribing to a monthly package priced at Rp100,000 for the website version and Rp130,000 for iOS and Android users.

"I am pleased to announce that Meta Verified is now available and can be purchased directly through Instagram or Facebook in Indonesia," said Meta Indonesia CEO Piter Lydian in a post on Instagram account @pieterlydian, quoted on Sunday, July 30, 2023.

Benefits of Subscribing to the Blue Check Mark

There are several benefits that users with the blue check mark can enjoy, such as a verification badge that confirms the identity of users who have been authenticated with a Government ID.

In addition, users will also receive protection against fraud, assistance with account issues, and exclusive features to express themselves in a unique way.

"Security is at the core of Meta Verified's presence because we know that it is important to feel confident that the people interacting with you are genuine. We conduct a series of checks in Meta Verified before, during, and after someone registers," said Pieter.

However, there are several requirements that users must meet, including:

1. Registrants must be at least 18 years old with previous uploads history

2. Registrants must provide an ID that matches the name and profile picture of the submitted Facebook and Instagram accounts.

3. Subscriptions will include proactive monitoring for account impersonation.

"We are also committed to continuously monitor and review reported violations, and take swift action against parties who try to circumvent our system," Pieter concluded.
