Just like in this wedding in Samarinda, East Kalimantan. The wedding attracted attention from netizens because of its spectacular dowry.

In a post on the TikTok account @gynurhajah, a veiled woman is proposed to with a dowry of Rp300 million, 100 grams of gold, 200 kg of rice, and an HRV car.

The bride is seen wearing a black abaya sitting among other women guests during the traditional Banjar ceremony in Kalimantan. In front of her, there are neatly arranged wedding gifts decorated with ribbons.

Jujuran is a process where the groom comes to the bride's house to deliver the dowry, jujuran (dowry money), a set of prayer tools, bedroom items, and other gifts.

In the video, several family members are seen taking out cash from the dowry box.

"The dowry for today's jujuran, Rp 300 million. 100 grams of gold, 200 kilograms of rice, plus an HRV car, may it be blessed," wrote the video's caption.

The prospective bride is seen wearing various gold jewelry, from necklaces to bracelets and rings. After the jujuran procession, the couple immediately holds the wedding ceremony.

With a strong Islamic atmosphere, the wedding reception is intentionally separated between male and female guests.
