Dream - Fathers always have their own way of implementing rules and discipline at home. Sometimes, because they are very disciplined, fathers are often seen as stricter and more rigid compared to mothers. This makes the children become more reserved.
The rules made by our father when we were children, indeed seemed very annoying and restrictive. Like the confession of a girl who owns a TikTok account @sacramento111. She uploaded the rules that her father implemented at home.
"Quite a lot, these unwritten rules have reached dozens and gone viral on TikTok. This is because many feel that the rules made by their father are very useful for children, especially teenagers, to become more disciplined and respect their parents."
The owner of the Tiktok account @sacramento111 also wrote a series of rules from his father when at home, which are quite a lot. 1. Don't just come out of the bathroom with only a towel on (that's why dad prepared a changing room in the bathroom). 2. It is mandatory to wash underwear separately after bathing, except for mom (because sometimes dad washes the clothes and he feels uncomfortable washing his children's underwear).
3. Eating should be done at the dining table (because according to dad, the best communication within the family happens at the dining table). 4. Sitting is not allowed with raised feet.
5. If you eat, there should not be a single grain of rice left (dad always says that there are many people out there who want to eat rice but cannot afford to buy rice). 6. You are not allowed to call someone by their name, whether it's between a child and a parent or between siblings. (An older sibling is called "kaka," I am called "wawu," and my younger sibling is called "Ade").
7. Wake up in the morning, must clean up each room (because in the morning someone likes to go around checking) 8. When entering the bathroom / WC, must take off sandals (because dad cleans it) 9. Broom for the bedroom, living room, family room, and dining room, cannot be used to sweep the dirty kitchen where cooking takes place 10. Not allowed to bring any food into the room unless sick and unable to get up 11. Not allowed to go out after 7 pm except for worship (imagine not being able to hang out at night on Sundays).
12. Eating is not allowed while watching or playing with mobile phones (because it is considered disrespectful and ungrateful for the food that is available).
After writing a series of rules from his father on TikTok, the account owner apparently feels sad. Because his father has passed away. He then remembers the rules made by his father for his own good. In the past, it is undeniable that he felt annoyed, but now he feels touched and also misses his father because he is no longer there. "In the past, I was annoyed and considered everything excessive, now I understand and miss my late father. 🕹️❤️," he wrote.
The upload was also filled with comments from netizens. "I swear I used to feel tortured by rules like this, but when I moved away, I realized its benefits," wrote Astrae Jocasta. "Be grateful for those who have parents and follow their rules, it's really for our own good," commented @burik Ergaje. "When children are still young, these rules apply, but it becomes difficult after they grow up, especially when they move far away from their parents, they do whatever they want," expressed @susantimath.
