Dream - One of the things that is prohibited during the month of Ramadan and can invalidate fasting is engaging in sexual intercourse or marital relations. So, what if this is done at night? Where Muslims are no longer fasting. Prior to that, it is important for Dream's friends to know that engaging in marital relations is important to maintain the harmony of a household relationship. In addition, marital relations are also considered as an act of worship.

Explained in the Tafsir Zhilalil Qur'an by Sayyid Quthb, which has been translated by As'ad Yasin, it is related to the verse 187 of Surah Al-Baqarah that indicates the permissibility of engaging in marital relations between the time of Maghrib and Subuh during the month of Ramadan. The meaning of Surah Al-Baqarah verse 187 is as follows: "It has been made lawful for you to approach your wives during the nights of the fast. They are a garment for you and you are a garment for them. Allah knows that you have been deceiving yourselves."

The descent of the verse is certainly for a specific reason. Where at the beginning of the command, fasting was obligatory, and engaging in marital relations was still prohibited if those individuals had slept after breaking their fast. So, when they wake up in the middle of the night, even though it is not yet dawn, they are not allowed to engage in marital relations, even to eat and drink. Many people during the time of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) objected to such a rule. Finally, Allah SWT revealed verse 187 of Surah Al-Baqarah, which permits marital relations during the nights of Ramadan.

"At night, Muslims are allowed to engage in marital relations because they are no longer fasting. In fact, after breaking the fast, the body's energy has certainly returned. Intimacy can also be done after performing the Tarawih prayer."
