Kim Mingue Can't Wait to Try Indonesian Fried Rice and Noodles: 'I'm Curious'

Dream - Kim Mingue, a top actor from South Korea, held his first fanmeeting, SMILE with Kim Mingue, in Indonesia on Saturday, June 17, 2023. Held at The Kasablanka Hall, Kim Mingue held a press conference before meeting fans around 7 PM.

Kim Mingue, who expressed his happiness to meet his fans in Indonesia, admitted that he couldn't wait to try the local culinary menu. One thing that makes the handsome actor curious is to taste Indonesian fried rice and noodles.

“I'm curious about the taste of fried rice and noodles here, that's why I'm very excited to come to Indonesia,” he said during the press conference. 

The 28-year-old actor admitted that he is the type of person who enjoys fried rice and noodles. However, while in Korea, he can only enjoy these dishes through online orders. 

“In Korea, I always order online, one serving each for myself,” he said.

Filling Free Time with Playing Games

In addition to his favorite dishes, Kim Mingue also shared about his activities outside of filming. The Business Proposal actor revealed that he spends most of his free time exercising and playing online games.

“I usually spend my free time exercising and playing games. Lately, I've been playing Valorant and Battle Ground,” he said with a sweet smile.

Regarding his visit to Indonesia, Kim Mingue promised to share many experiences that will become the most memorable memories for his fans. He also revealed that he will show a different side of himself at this fanmeeting.

The popularity of Business Proposal in Indonesia has gained Kim Mingue many fans. In addition to the series, this talented actor is currently starring in the drama The Heavenly Idol, which is his last project before enlisting in the military.

NCT Dream's Epic Performance at Korean Wave 2022, Jaemin Curious to Try Seblak

Dream - The Korean Wave 2022 event held at Mall Trans Studio Cibubur on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 delighted K-Pop fans, especially NCTzens. This event opened with performances by several Indonesian singers such as Ari Lasso, Nassar, Ayu Ting-ting, Anneth, and Raissa.

After being entertained by performances from top Indonesian musicians, the Korean boy band NCT Dream took the stage by storm at the Korean Wave.

Driving Fans Crazy

Jeno, Chenle, Renjun, Jisung, and Jaemin entered the stage to perform their first song, Beatbox.

The fans of this group, who are familiarly called NCTzens, immediately went crazy seeing their idols perform on stage.

Opening with the Song Beatbox

In this first song, Jeno started the performance followed by the fan chants. Jaemin's melodious voice and Jisung's rap performance followed. NCT Dream delivered the first song flawlessly.

A few seconds after the first song ended, Jeno and his friends performed their second song, 'Hot Sauce'. After the second song, NCT Dream immediately went backstage and the performance continued with Ari Lasso.

After several performances by Indonesian singers such as Un1ty, Fabio Asher, and several others, NCT returned to the Korean Wave stage to play games.

Jaemin Wants to Try Seblak

Before playing the dance guessing game, Astrid Tiar, the host of the event, asked the members if there was any food they wanted to try after returning to Indonesia.

"I heard that seblak is trending in Indonesia, I want to try it," said Jaemin.

Renjun added that he really wanted to eat fried noodles again.

"Of course, I really like fried noodles," added Renjun.
