Dream - Menstruation or menstruation is a natural part of a woman's life cycle. Although during menstruation women are required to stop certain specific worship such as prayer and fasting, this does not mean that they are cut off from worship and deeds. In fact, there are many deeds that can be done by women during menstruation to maintain a relationship with Allah SWT and increase spirituality. Here are some deeds that can be done by women during menstruation:
1. Reading and Listening to the Quran
Although it is not allowed to touch the mushaf Al-Quran, women who are menstruating can still read the Al-Quran from memory or use digital tools such as mobile applications. In addition, listening to the recitation of the verses of the Al-Quran can also be a way to stay connected with the holy book and find peace of mind.
2. Remembrance
"Dhikr is one of the highly recommended practices for women who are menstruating. By remembering and mentioning the name of Allah SWT, women can still receive rewards and feel closeness to Him. "
Some dzikir that can be done include tasbih (Subhanallah), tahmid (Alhamdulillah), tahlil (La ilaha illallah), and takbir (Allahu Akbar).
3. Pray
Praying is a practice that is not bound by a person's physical condition. During menstruation, women can increase their prayers, both for themselves, their families, and the Muslim community in general. Prayer is a direct form of communication with Allah SWT, and there is no specific time or condition that prevents a Muslim from praying.
4. Following Islamic Studies and Learning
Menstruation is the right time to deepen religious knowledge. Women can participate in religious studies through online media, reading Islamic books, or listening to lectures. This is an opportunity to enhance understanding of Islam and strengthen faith.
5. Donate and Engage in Social Activities
Donating and engaging in social charity are highly recommended acts of worship in Islam. Women who are menstruating can utilize their time to assist others, either through donations or by participating in social activities. These practices not only bring rewards but also have a positive impact on society.
7. Strengthening Ties
Using menstruation time to support the family and strengthen the bond is also a very valuable practice. By giving attention and support to loved ones, women can maintain harmony and togetherness within the family and social environment.
8. Multiply the Sholawat.
One of the practices or worship that can be done by women who are menstruating is to send blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad. The recommendation to send blessings upon the Prophet is even directly commanded by Allah SWT to the Muslim community, as stated in the Quran, Surah Al Ahzab, verse 56. The meaning of the verse is: "Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet. O you who have believed, send blessings upon him and greet him with [the words of] peace."
Bersholawat is a practice that can be done at any time, including during menstruation. Sholawat is evidence of human love for Allah and the Prophet Muhammad. The reward for bersholawat is very great, because besides being the cause of mercy and forgiveness, the reward is also multiplied by Allah. The menstruation period should not be a barrier for women to continue worshiping and getting closer to Allah SWT. By doing various acts such as reading and listening to the Quran, dhikr, prayer, attending religious studies, giving charity, seeking forgiveness, and supporting good relations, women can still maintain their spirituality and find peace of mind.
