Dream - Pegi Setiawan alias Perong, a murder suspect of Vina Cirebon, was on the list of wanted persons (DPO) for eight years. West Java Regional Police (Jabar) stated that during his fugitive status, Pegi's whereabouts were difficult to trace due to constantly changing locations and identities.

This raises public question marks. Because, Pegi has been actively using the Facebook social media since 2016, or when the murder of Vina occurred. In fact, Pegi has shared the last location several times in his Facebook posts. A few days after Vina's murder, Pegi posted that he had no knowledge of what happened and felt dragged into the case.

Next month, Pegi again complained because he became a victim of slander. "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, O our Lord, do not make us a trial for the people who are unjust, and save us by Your mercy from the disbelieving people. Seeking refuge from slander!!!!!!!!! O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cruelty of slander," said Pegi on October 21, 2016.

Throughout 2017, Pegi frequently shared his last location in his Facebook posts. Starting from Magelang, Bandung, Cirebon, and up to Kuningan, West Java. He also often uploaded pictures of himself hanging out with friends. Unlike fugitives who often hide and falsify their identities, Pegi Setiawan openly displayed his daily activities on social media. He continued doing so until last year, 2021.

Now, after eight years on the run, Pegi Setiawan has finally been captured. Dirreskrimum Polda Jabar Kombes Pol Surawan claimed that the police had been relentlessly pursuing Pegi for the past eight years. However, the police faced difficulties in locating Pegi as he constantly moved from one place to another.

"Robi also managed to change his name during the fugitive period. This became one of the factors that made it difficult for the police to capture Robi for eight years in the ongoing Vina murder case. 'He changed his name. At his workplace (construction worker), he claimed to be called Robi,' he explained."
