The recording was taken by a man named Zhong in Taiyuan, Shanxi, China a few days ago. Zhong overheard a heated conversation between the father and daughter on the street. The daughter even shouted at her father.

"Other parents can buy their children iPhones. Why don't you have any money?" the daughter shouted at her father, as quoted from SCMP. Seeing her child's anger, the father could only kneel down and shake his head, blaming himself for his financial inability."

Zhong, who had been observing their interaction for about five minutes, felt sadness towards the father and anger towards the daughter.
