Dream - Some people like to keep pets in their homes. Usually, pets have cute shapes like dogs and cats. However, there are also people who like to keep dangerous animals like snakes. Like what this man did.
One of the people who likes to keep snakes is Mr. Suwa from Wonosobo. Through the Youtube video upload of Panji Petualang, he showed 54 King Cobra snakes that are in his house. Besides being a pet, another purpose of keeping snakes is to protect them from extinction.
Uniquely, the King Cobra owned by Mr. Suwa originates from the original wild habitat of Wonosobo, Central Java. He often ventures into the wild to secure the Cobra snakes that frequently enter the local community's environment.
Apart from ensuring the safety of the residents, Mr. Suwa wants to save those snakes that are starting to lose their natural habitat in order to prevent them from becoming extinct.
"Not only from its original place, Wonosobo, the snakes at Mr. Suwa's house also come from other areas. Among them are Bogor and Temanggung regions."
Pak Suwa places his snakes in a strong wooden cage with glass in the front. Therefore, the snakes in Pak Suwa's house have little chance to escape and can be monitored through the glass in the cage.
Almost all of the King Cobras owned by Pak Suwa are solid black in color and large in size. However, he also has King Cobras in brown and turquoise colors. Almost all of Pak Suwa's snakes are not tame, they have aggressive and wild nature.
Even one of Pak Suwa's King Cobra snakes once attacked his brother until he died. This indicates that the snake has a secretly treacherous nature that can attack at any time.
Not only snakes from Java, Mr. Suwa also has native endemic Cobras at the latitude boundary. He also has different types of snakes other than King Cobra, such as red-tailed snakes.
