"Despite being tempted by worldly prosperity, the Prophet SAW was not influenced by the instigation of the disbelievers who tried to hinder the Prophet's efforts of preaching. At the same time, the Prophet Muhammad SAW did not condemn their way of practicing religion. That is why at the end of the recitation of Surah Al-Kafirun, he emphasized 'To you, your religion, and to me, my religion'."

Ibnu Ishaq narrated from Ibn Abbas, that Walid bin Mughirah, Ash bin Wail, Aswad bin Abdul Muthalib, and Umayyah bin Khalaf met the Prophet Muhammad. They said, "O Muhammad, let us worship the God you worship and you worship the God we worship. Let us together participate in this matter. If it turns out that your religion is better than ours, we have participated and benefited from your religion. If it turns out that our religion is better than yours, you have participated and benefited from our religion."

Ayat 1: قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ "Say, O disbelievers," Ayat 2: لَا أَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ "I do not worship what you worship," Ayat 3: وَلَا أَنْتُمْ عَابِدُونَ مَا أَعْبُدُ "Nor are you worshippers of what I worship."

Ayat 4: "And I have never been a worshipper of what you worship," Ayat 5: "And you are not worshippers of what I worship," Ayat 6: "To you be your religion, and to me be my religion."
