Dream - In the midst of the campaign period, presidential candidate number one, Anies Baswedan, was reported to Bareskrim Polri by the organization Forum Aktivis Dakwah Kampus Indonesia.
Anies is accused of blasphemy for using the acronym AMIN for his campaign. The acronym AMIN is taken from the abbreviation of Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar, his vice presidential candidate.

According to Umar, the word Amin has the same meaning for other religions in Indonesia. He considers Anies politicizing religion.
"This is a very useless politicization. Low politicization, that politicization of religion is still being done to gain a public interest in this era of democracy,"

Not only that, Umar Segala also highlighted the podcast issue of Anies with Ustaz Abdul Somad discussing tahiyat with a two-finger gesture.
