Dream - The blessings given by Allah SWT in this life are so abundant that humans will never be able to count them. It is not always in the form of material things, but blessings such as having a healthy body, being able to breathe, having intelligence, and having a job are often overlooked. However, humans, with their natural tendencies, sometimes still feel unsatisfied with everything that Allah SWT has given them. Therefore, there is a desire to ask for more. It is important for Dream's friends to know that the blessings given by Allah SWT can disappear in an instant. Is Dream ready for such a condition?
The following 'Bahasa' text translated to 'English' while preserving any html tags: "Human beings who believe that blessings are only entrusted by Allah SWT must be prepared when the Almighty withdraws His rights that belong to Him. This awareness will always make them grateful for the entrusted blessings that can be taken back at any time."
In addition to always being grateful for all the blessings that have been given, knowledgeable people also strive to fulfill that trust by using it for good. This believer believes that behind those blessings are the rights of others. A great scholar, Imam Al-Ghazali, has taught the Muslim community about how to maintain the blessings given by Allah SWT. Here is how it is summarized by Dream through various sources.
Grateful to Allah SWT has a very important role in our lives.
Allah SWT is Most Compassionate and Most Merciful, always bestowing various blessings upon His servants without discrimination. In facing every event in life, whether it be happiness or sadness, being grateful to Allah SWT is the key to maintaining balance and happiness in life. Allah SWT has created us and continuously provides endless blessings. We are given a loving family, delicious food, income-generating jobs, and various other things that are part of our lives.
When we are grateful for these blessings, we acknowledge and appreciate the goodness of Allah SWT that is given to us every day. Conversely, the calamities and difficulties that befall us in life are tests given by Allah SWT. However, it is important to remember that the blessings of Allah SWT are more abundant than the calamities that befall us. Calamities and trials are part of the path of life that cannot be avoided, but if we are grateful to Allah SWT, we will be more able to face them.
Grateful to Allah SWT makes us more accepting of His destiny with an open heart and aware that every difficulty has wisdom and lessons that we can take. In daily life, the importance of gratitude lies in our ability to appreciate and be grateful for all the blessings that Allah SWT has given us. When we are grateful, we will feel peace, happiness, and sincere gratitude in our hearts.
This will not only improve our relationship with Allah SWT, but also with fellow human beings. So, let us be grateful to Allah SWT incessantly, because His blessings are far greater than the trials we experience.
"When we are grateful, there are many benefits that can be obtained. Here are some of those benefits:"
The following is the translation of the given text from 'Bahasa' to 'English' while preserving any HTML tags: "The Qur'an states in Surah Ibrahim verse 7:
"And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, 'If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe.'"In this verse, Allah SWT strongly reminds us that through gratitude, Allah SWT will increase His blessings upon us."
The benefits of being grateful are being able to bring peace in life. By doing so, we will be free from all kinds of heart diseases. As explained in the hadith: "Know that in the human body, there is a piece of flesh. If it is good, then the whole body is good. If it is corrupted, then the whole body is corrupted. That is the heart." (HR. Bukhari and Muslim)
The next benefit of being grateful is to attain paradise. As explained in the following hadith: "The first person to be called to enter paradise is the one who always expresses praise and gratitude to Allah, that is, those who always praise Allah, both in times of ease and difficulty." (HR. Bukhari from Ibn Abbas)
The following 'Bahasa' text translated to 'English' while preserving any html tags: "The blessings given by Allah SWT can disappear in an instant from our possession. However, Imam Al-Ghazali teaches us how to preserve them."
That is explained in the book Minhajul Abidin, that there is one step to ensure that the blessings of Allah SWT are maintained. He said that gratitude is the binder of blessings. By continuously being grateful, the blessings we receive will become lasting and eternal. However, if we are not grateful, then those blessings will disappear. Allah SWT said in Surah An-Nisa verse 147: "Allah will not punish you if you are grateful and believe. Allah is Appreciative and Knowing." (QS an-Nisa: 147)
Besides that, it is also explained in the following hadith of the Prophet saw: "Indeed, those blessings have wild characteristics, like the wildness of wild animals. So tie it with gratitude." That is why, Prophet Muhammad saw considers gratitude as the characteristics of a believer.
In a hadith it is explained that Lailatul Qadar becomes a moment for the forgiveness of past sins.
