Dream - Breaking the fast is a highly anticipated time for Muslims who are observing fasting. However, Dream friends should not forget to recite prayers beforehand. Considering that breaking the fast is a very good moment to pray to Allah SWT. In fact, Dream friends' prayers will be easier to be answered by Allah SWT. Therefore, it is important for Dream friends to know the recitation of the prayer for breaking the fast. As explained in the following hadith:

In Fathul Mu'in and its explanation, it is recommended to recite the breaking of the fast prayer after breaking the fast. Not before or when intending to break the fast. Meanwhile, according to the Book of Busyro al Karim, the breaking of the fast prayer can be practiced before breaking the fast, and the most preferable time is after breaking the fast. Prophet Muhammad usually broke his fast before performing the Maghrib prayer instead of waiting until the Maghrib prayer was completed.

This is explained in a hadith: "The Prophet Muhammad used to break his fast with ruthob (fresh dates) before performing the prayer. If there were no ruthob, then he would break his fast with tamer (dried dates). And if there was none of these, he would break his fast with a sip of water."

Afthara 'indakumush shaaimuuna wa akala tha'aamakumul abraaru washallat 'alaikumul malaaikatu. It means: "Break your fast among your brethren and eat the food served by the righteous, and the angels pray for you to receive mercy."

The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) once said, "People will always be good as long as they break their fast quickly." (HR. Muttafaq alaih) It should be known that the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) never performed the Maghrib prayer in the month of Ramadan before breaking his fast, even though he only broke his fast by drinking water. This is explained in a hadith narrated by Abu Ya'la. The wisdom behind hastening to break the fast is firstly to revive the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), as Imam Shafi'i said, "The wisdom of hastening to break the fast is to revive the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)."

"Accelerating the breaking of the fast is a recommended act, and ending it is not a forbidden act unless one considers that there is virtue in delaying the breaking of the fast." Secondly, to differentiate from other religions. The Prophet Muhammad said: "Islam will always prevail as long as its followers hasten the breaking of the fast, because the Jews and Christians always delay it." (Narrated by Abu Dawud)"

Third, it can refresh the body. As stated by Imam Al-Muhallib: "The wisdom of breaking the fast early is so that the fasting person does not become heavier by enduring hunger for a longer time. Besides that, it refreshes the body so that it becomes stronger in worshiping during the night."
