Dream - The wedding event of the couple Arvinda Pravitasari and her husband, which was held very simply and full of 'adventure', went viral on social media.
How not? The owner of the TikTok account @arvindaprav held a wedding event at the Office of Religious Affairs, also known as KUA.
Not only that! They also made the environment of the KUA and the bus stop (angkot) as photo locations. Curious about what viral wedding story that might be subject to ridicule for these mendang-mending people? Let's find out below.
Through TikTok @arvindaprav, Arvinda mentioned that her wedding video was actually inspired by the new song by Maliq & The Essentials titled 'Bikin Romantis' (Making it Romantic). So, from that song, she got the idea to 'romanticize' and make an enjoyable video of her wedding which took place at the Marriage Registration Office (KUA).
While the wedding event at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) was also sudden. The preparation was only 15 minutes after the proposal. This 29-year-old woman admitted that her wedding was indeed sudden because there was a surprising moment when she was suddenly asked to get married after the proposal.
After the religious wedding, Arvinda took care of the civil wedding to make it official in the civil registry. Thus, the wedding of Arvinda and her husband, who is affectionately called Didot, took place at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA).
"Lucky Arvinda and Didot have a very supportive and 'cool' family, so the wedding without a party was successfully held. Both families looked relaxed with the simple wedding at the marriage registry office, and even had fun together."
Arvinda admitted to being happy because she was able to fulfill her desire to get married at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA). In a slide show video on TikTok, she narrated the excitement of organizing her wedding. Initially, she showed photos of the wedding ceremony at the KUA with a sense of pride. "Romanticizing a KUA wedding. There was no rundown, instead it became really exciting," wrote Arvinda.
In the next photo, Arvinda mentioned that she took care of all the requirements and documents for her marriage at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA). "In the name of God, hopefully all the requirements are complete," she said.
According to Arvinda, a marriage that is only held at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) is likely an answer to a promise made to his mother in the past.
"Long story short, so I once told my mother, 'Mom, when I get married, I don't mind if it's just at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA), we can have the ceremony at the religious study center at home.' But hey! Words turned into prayers," she added.
When holding his wedding at the Office of Religious Affairs, Arvinda wore a simple wedding dress. She only wore a white dress and a pashmina hijab. Meanwhile, the groom wore a blue suit with a white shirt inside.
In the photo session at the Marriage Registration Office (KUA), Arvinda and Didot can be seen posing in front of the decoration display as if they were at the wedding stage. "The ring ceremony is done in a funny way, this is directed by the KUA officer," said Arvinda.
The wedding event became funny because during the photoshoot, suddenly there was a serving of rice ginger jamu. "The main procession is finished, let's continue drinking jamu wkwkwk. Don't ask me why there's suddenly rice ginger jamu," he said.
In that marriage, Arvinda and her husband are very happy because their nature is truly private, as only immediate family members are present.
"For their wedding photos, Arvinda and Didot didn't force themselves too much. The background of their wedding photos is 'totally random' because they used the area around the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA). One of the backgrounds for Arvinda and Didot's wedding photos is a soccer field near the KUA."
One of the backgrounds of Arvinda and Didot's wedding photo is a soccer field near a Junior High School.
Even the junior high school toilet was not spared from the snapshots of the wedding photographer Arvinda and Didot.
"He also used the angkot gathering area as the theme for his wedding photos. Perhaps this is the most absurd wedding photo because they posed inside the angkot car."
While taking photos, Arvinda and her husband also bought ice pops because they were thirsty and tired from laughing.
Tired of taking photos and laughing, Arvinda decided to go back to the KUA office on foot. "Thanks to Didot, thank you for being a fun partner in all conditions," he said while sipping an ice lolly.
Arvinda also revealed the wedding expenses, especially the clothes and accessories she wore. "I want to share! This is my own makeup, the rented clothes cost Rp200,000, and I bought fake flowers near the market for Rp50,000," she said.
As a closing, Arvinda delivers a message to potential partners out there, "At the end, it doesn't matter where you get married, what matters is not the place but the readiness. Hopefully, you will be matched with an exciting partner too!"
