"Dream - In Islam, a wife is commanded to conceal her husband's faults. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also disapproved of a wife frequently complaining about her husband's shortcomings to others. This is as explained in the following hadith: "Indeed, I do not like a woman who leaves her house dragging the ends of her clothing and complaining about her husband's (faults) to others," (HR At-Thabrani with a weak chain of narration). Therefore, as a wife, she should keep her husband's faults as private as possible. Similarly, a husband must conceal his wife's faults."

"This is due to the very serious threat to someone who exposes their partner's faults. Especially in today's era, the use of social media is rampant, one of which is used as a medium for self-expression. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed, the person with the worst position on the Day of Judgment is a man (husband) who has sexual relations with his wife and then reveals her secrets." (HR Muslim)"

Regarding the hadith above, Ibn Abbas, Imam al-Kurthubi, Mujahid, and others argue that the hadith relates to the relationship between husband and wife. Meanwhile, Al-Hirawy and Al-Kalbiy state that the hadith is not only about intimate relations. It can also refer to moments when the husband and wife are alone together, even without physical intimacy. Sheikh Abdullah al-Bassam also explains that the shame in a couple can pertain to the body parts of the husband and wife, including what is inside, as well as secrets between the two that each would not want others to know.

In a hadith, it is also explained about the punishment for someone who exposes their partner's disgrace: “A person who gossips and reveals their partner's flaws, Allah will bind them with a great snake on the Day of Judgment.” (HR. Ahmad)

The priority of guarding the tongue is that paradise is promised. As explained in a hadith: “Whoever can guarantee to me about the goodness of what is between his two jawbones; namely the mouth or tongue, and between his two legs; namely his private parts, then I guarantee paradise for him.” (HR. Al-Bukhari)

"Maintaining one's speech well can also earn great rewards. This is explained in the words of Allah SWT through Surah An-Nisa verse 144: "There is no good in much of their secret talk, except for one who enjoins charity, or goodness, or reconciliation among people. And whoever does that seeking means to the approval of Allah - then We will give him a great reward." (QS. An-Nisa: 114)"
