Dream - In Islam, a wife is commanded to cover her husband's faults. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also did not like it when a wife frequently complained about her husband's shortcomings to others. This is explained in the following hadith: "I do not like women who leave their homes dragging their garments and complaining about their husbands' faults to others." (Narrated by At-Thabrani with a weak chain of narration) So, as a wife, one should try to keep her husband's faults as hidden as possible. Similarly, the husband should also cover his wife's faults.

This is because there is a very serious threat to someone who exposes their partner's shame. Especially in this era where the use of social media is rampant, which is used as a means to express oneself. Rasulullah saw said, "Indeed, the person with the worst position on the Day of Judgment is a man (husband) who has sexual intercourse with his wife and then reveals his wife's secrets." (HR Muslim)

Regarding the above hadith, Ibn Abbas, Imam al-Kurthubi, Mujahid, and others believe that the hadith is related to the relationship between husband and wife. Meanwhile, Al-Hirawy and Al Kalbiy say that the hadith is not only about intimate relationships. But it can also be when husband and wife are alone together even without being physically intimate. Sheikh Abdullah al-Bassam also explains that the flaws in a couple can include the body parts of the husband and wife. Including what is inside them, the secrets between them that each of them does not like if others know about it.

In a hadith, it is also explained about the punishment for someone who exposes their partner's shame: "The person who gossips and exposes their partner's shame, Allah will bind them with a big snake on the Day of Judgment." (Narrated by Ahmad)
