The expose was directly led by the Head of the Banten High Prosecutor's Office, Didik Farkhan, and Aspidum Jefri Penanging Meakapedua. Also present were the Kajari Serang Yusfidly, the Head of the Criminal Section, and Public Prosecutors from the Serang District Attorney's Office. "The result of the expose was unanimous in agreeing that the case of Muhyani Bin Subrata is not suitable for referral to the court. Based on the facts of the actions uncovered by the Public Prosecutor, it was found that there was a case of self-defense (noodweer) as referred to in Article 49 paragraph (1) of the Penal Code," said Banten Kajati Didik Farkhan, as reported by merdeka.com, Saturday, December 16, 2023.

Didik stated that, according to the law, a person who resists to defend their own property or to protect someone else's property is classified as someone who acts in self-defense.

From the exposure results, it is revealed that from the results of the visum et repertum, it can be concluded that the victim is not declared dead directly due to the actions of the defendant who stabbed the victim in the chest with scissors. "However, the victim died due to bleeding and did not receive immediate assistance, so it can be concluded that the victim did not directly die as a result of the defendant's actions," said Didik.

"Next, from the case file, it was obtained that the defendant resisted the victim using a tool in the form of scissors, because the defendant felt threatened by the victim who was carrying a machete. At the time of the incident, the victim was about to draw a machete that he had prepared when caught in the act by the defendant."

"Hearing the news that his case was dismissed, Muhyani was happy. He continued to cry with emotion and thanked everyone who had helped and prayed for him. "After being dismissed, I am grateful.
