Melan Achmad, a 78-year-old man, is a retired mathematics teacher. Nevertheless, he remains enthusiastic about teaching his students through the live feature on TikTok. Mbah Melan, as he is affectionately called, regularly teaches mathematics every day in two sessions. The first session takes place from 16.00-17.30 WIB, while the second session starts from 19.30 until 21.00 WIB. Mbah Melan's dedication to teaching online is commendable.

The mathematics questions he teaches are from various levels, namely for junior high school, senior high school, vocational school, national standardized test for higher education, and civil service exams. In one of his uploads, Mbah Melan showed behind the scenes while he was teaching live on TikTok. The post showed Mbah Melan's phone mounted on a tripod facing a whiteboard.
