The emission test ticket applies according to the regulations that every vehicle older than three years must meet emission requirements and pass testing. The results of the emission test are then used as the basis for imposing the Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) rate. Proof of payment of the motor vehicle tax (PKB) is the basis for the validation of the STNK, which is carried out annually during renewal. An invalid STNK means that the motor vehicle tax (PKB) has not been paid and has not passed the emission test.

“We are collaborating with the Regional Revenue Agency for the renewal of the vehicle registration certificate (STNK) in the future, which must include an emissions test,” said Asep.
