Dream - The Holy Month of Ramadan becomes a golden opportunity for Muslims to enhance the quality of worship. However, it turns out that it is not only Muslims who are enthusiastic about the arrival of the month of fasting. Sometimes, even non-Muslims are curious about the worship performed by Muslims throughout the entire month. Usually, they will directly ask those who are observing it.
As felt by a Muslim man from Indonesia who is currently living in Taiwan, who shared a video recording when his friend asked about Ramadan fasting. The video was uploaded by the TikTok account @leiren_6.
The video shows an Indonesian man and his friend, who is believed to be from Taiwan, having a conversation about Ramadan. The man from Taiwan can be seen asking the account owner about the reason for observing fasting.
However, his friend asked while enjoying his meal in front of the fasting man. "Ren, why are you fasting Ramadan?" asked the man.
With a calm demeanor, the Indonesian man answered that Allah SWT obligates all Muslim people to fast during the month of Ramadan. "Allah SWT obligates," he replied. Even though he was suppressing hunger, the Indonesian man still smiled and responded to his friend's question calmly. He did not feel angry when his friend intentionally teased him with food.
The man from Taiwan asked how long the Ramadan fasting is done, including the things that are allowed during fasting. "Do you fast for one year and one month? Can't eat in the morning? drink? urinate? defecate?" asked the man from Taiwan.
Once again, the Indonesian man answered all the questions calmly while laughing. He was also unfazed, even laughing, when his friend tried to tease him by eating in front of him.
The attitude of this man has garnered various reactions from netizens. Many feel amazed and sympathetic towards this man from Indonesia. "Funny, we might die if we eat that," wrote user @frday03. "Can you imagine if a girl can pee and poop while fasting? Hahaha, I find it hilarious," wrote user @nonoksuha. "I'm sorry, but is it okay to ask about peeing and pooping? You know yourself that something that can't be held is peeing and pooping," wrote user @sarihgemoy2719872312208. Report: Khaira Amaliya.
