1. Non
Non is a type of bread that has a solid texture and is usually round in shape. Not only does it have a different shape and texture, non is also made with certain patterns.
People from Uzbekistan usually consume non with a variety of dishes, ranging from Osh to Shurpa. Bread is a staple food for people from Uzbekistan, just as Indonesians don't feel like they have eaten if there is no rice on their plate.
2. Osh
Osh is also the most frequently consumed dish by the people of Uzbekistan. This dish is very similar to kebuli rice or mandhi rice. Osh is prepared with toppings of lamb/goat meat, sliced carrots, peas, and quail eggs.
3. Samsa
At first glance, Samsa looks like sweet bread or pastry, but it turns out to have a savory taste and a crunchy texture. It is made from various vegetables seasoned with spices, making it more delicious with a hint of spices aroma.
Samsa can be enjoyed with homemade herbal tea according to taste. In Uzbekistan, tea can be prepared with a mixture of roses or saffron to make the aroma more fragrant.
4. Shurpa
In Uzbekistan, almost all dishes contain strong-smelling goat or lamb meat, including Shurpa. Goat/lamb meat is served like meatballs or simply cut into several pieces, then served with broth like chicken soup, thin and soft-textured noodles, and potato slices.
5. Shashlik
Shashlik is goat meat shaped into round or elongated pieces. Usually, shashlik is served by skewering it like satay. This dish is perfect if Sahabat Dream enjoys eating goat or lamb meat and wants to consume it in large quantities.
