Recently, the enchanting charm of the ancient village of Khunzakh has become the center of attention after being captured in a drone photo by Slava Stepanov, a talented photographer. In a series of photos that later went viral on Russian social media, Stepanov successfully showcased the beauty of the village located in the Dagestan region.

Next, for centuries, the village became the capital of the Avar Khanate before finally being destroyed by Mongol attacks. In the early 19th century, Khunzakh was eventually annexed by the Russian Empire.
