Dream - After successfully collaborating with Kpop idol BTS, McDonald's once again collaborates with idols from South Korea. This time McD collaborates with girl band New Jeans and introduces the special menu NewJeans Chicken Dance Campaign.

In this collaboration, McDonald's Indonesia offers special packaging and merchandise, McDonaldsxNewJeans Special Gift, and Chicken Dance Competition during the period of July 12-August 27, 2023.

"Hopefully this NewJeans Chicken Dance Campaign will leave a lasting impression and become a special memory for all McDonald's fans and also Bunnies (NewJeans fans) in Indonesia," said Caroline Kurniadjaja, Associate Director of Marketing McDonald's Indonesia in a written statement received by Dream.

How to Get Packaging and Merchandise

To get special packaging, Dream Friends can purchase K-Meals by choosing Large McSpicy Package, Large McNuggets Package, Large Special PaNas, and Large Wings PaNas.

Unfortunately, Dream Friends cannot get member photocard when purchasing the above menus. McDonald's provides a collaboration bundling package with New Jeans priced at Rp399 thousand, where Dream Friends will get all member photocard and merchandise.

This McD and BTS collaboration package consists of 9 pieces of Chicken McNuggets, Medium Fries, Medium Coca-Cola, and is equipped with Sweet Chilli Sauce and Cajun Sauce inspired by popular recipes from McDonald's South Korea.

The packaging that is presented will also be different with a purple color appearance and BTS logo.

"We only provide online services and cannot eat directly at the restaurant to avoid crowds," said Caroline.
