Dream - The achievements of Indian descent businessmen are unquestionable. Many CEOs of companies are filled by individuals of Indian descent who have received higher education in the United States (US) and have ended up leading global corporations. Take for example Satya Nadella, who became the CEO of Microsoft and successfully achieved a market capitalization of US$2.27 trillion in May 2023. There is also CEO Sundar Pichai, who has led Alphabet (previously Google) to a market capitalization of US$1.36 trillion. Sundar Pichai joined Google in 2004. He helped develop Google Toolbar and Google Chrome in that year. Then he became CEO of Google in 2015, his position increased after becoming CEO of Alphabet in 2019. Pichai was raised in Chennai, India. In 2022, he received executive compensation of $226 million, making him one of the highest-paid CEOs and heads of Indian companies overall.

Shantanu Narayen joined Adobe in 1998 as vice president and general manager of the engineering technology group. He served as CEO in 2007. In 2017, Narayen was appointed chairman of the board of directors. In 2020, Narayen ranked 8th on Fortune's Businesspersons of the Year list. He was also named the best CEO by Glassdoor and Barron's. In the first quarter (Q1) of 2023, Adobe reported a record revenue of $4.66 billion under Narayen's leadership.

Arvind Krishna's career at IBM has spanned over 30 years, until he was appointed as CEO in 2020 and named chairman in 2021. One of his most notable achievements in the company is the acquisition of Red Hat worth $34 billion and his work in developing blockchain technology. In 2021, he ranked at the top of CRN's list of the 100 Most Influential Executives, thanks to his dedicated efforts in making IBM a leader in the cloud computing space.

Reshma Kewalramani became the only female CEO to make it onto the inu list. She joined Vertex Pharmaceuticals in 2017. Thanks to her leadership, Vertex ranked second on The Commonwealth Institute's 2021 Best Women-Led Businesses in Massachusetts list. Reshma was born in Mumbai, India. She received her medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine. She is the first woman to lead a major biotechnology company in the United States.

Nikesh Arora joined Palo Alto Networks in 2018. He became the chairman and CEO of the company after his tenure as CEO of SoftBank. During his leadership at SoftBank, Arora was one of the highest-paid executives in the world. Thanks to his leadership, Palo Alto Networks' stock rose more than twice. Part of his strategy focused on acquiring small companies while minimizing debt to enhance profitability and remain competitive in the cybersecurity field.
