Dream - Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's leadership of Israel apparently does not fully receive the support of its citizens. It is proven that more than a quarter of Israeli citizens are considering leaving the Zionist territory.
In a survey conducted by Channel 13 after the local government enacted laws related to judicial reform, it was found that more than a quarter of Israeli citizens are considering leaving their country. The detailed results are as follows: 28 percent of respondents are considering moving abroad, 64 percent are not, and 8 percent are unsure, as quoted from the Times of Israel report in July 2023.
More than half of the respondents, or 54 percent, said that they are worried that the judicial overhaul law will endanger Israel's security. Meanwhile, 56 percent of the respondents also expressed concerns about the occurrence of a civil war.
Only 33 percent of respondents believe in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's claim that the government wants to compromise with the remaining judicial reform laws. However, the respondents who believe this are mostly or 84 percent Likud party voters led by the prime minister.
Israeli citizens are even said to have carried out mass protests, facing strong opposition from high-ranking officials in the judiciary, security, economy, and society, as well as thousands of Israeli soldiers who pledged to leave service. The survey questioned 711 respondents and had a margin of error of 3.7 percent.
"The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, is currently also facing sharp criticism from the world, after launching all attacks targeting Gaza. According to Aljazeera's report on Tuesday (November 7, 2023), there are 10,022 Palestinian citizens who have been killed in Israel's bombings."
In Israeli leadership, Benjamin Netanyahu is not a new name. Besides serving as the Prime Minister, Benjamin is also the Chairman of the Likud Party.
Benjamin has served as the Prime Minister of Israel since December 2022. And it turns out that previously he also held the same position during the periods of 1996-1999 and 2009-2021.
"He is also known as a figure who is cruel and accused of corruption and embezzlement. Nevertheless, Benjamin Netanyahu's political career continues. Netanyahu's coalition parties, including the Religious Zionism party which won 14 seats, will also receive positions in Netanyahu's government. The party itself declares that if their members are included in the new government, they will try to dismiss allegations of embezzlement and breach of trust against Netanyahu."
