Bayu mentioned that the price of dried paddy is influenced by labor costs, land cultivation, planting, and harvesting. In addition to these calculations, extreme weather conditions also affect the cost of rice production. "The factors that contribute to the price of paddy are almost 50 percent labor costs, followed by land rent, fertilizer, and seeds," he explained.

He aimed, the price of dried rice in the future will be stable. However, the number will not return to what it was before the increase. Even so, the exact calculation is still waiting for the results from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) or the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). Bayu Krisnamurthi also said that there is actually a lot of rice stock in households. He assessed that the community has more rice if accumulated.

Bayu explained, that amount if compared to the amount of rice stock controlled by Bulog. He estimated that around 50 percent of the rice stock is in households.

"Even more than 50 percent of rice stocks are believed to be in households, including farming households," he continued.

"Bayu also estimates that many farmers are starting to think about storing their rice production temporarily. To find out the data, he is still waiting for Bapanas' research."
