"Everyone is prohibited from damaging, cutting, destroying, and/or altering the Rupiah with the intention of demeaning the honor of the Rupiah as a symbol of the country," stated in Article 25."
Referring to Article 35, it is stated that those who violate the rules will be subject to a maximum prison sentence of 5 years and a maximum fine of Rp1 billion.
