Dream - Sad news comes from an application that was once popular for its fee-free transfer service. The management of PT Fliptech Lentera Inspirasi Pertiwi (Flip), a payment service provider, has carried out layoffs for its employees. Co-founder & CEO of Flip, Rafi Putra Arriyan, explained that the layoffs were forced due to the still uncertain global economic conditions.
Reason for Layoff
The following is the translation of the 'Bahasa' text to 'English' while preserving any html tags: "This global economic condition has a significant impact on all sectors, including the business line that has been established since 2015."
"In order to ensure the continuity of Flip's business, the management reluctantly carries out internal reorganization,"
Rafi's words in the official statement, quoted on Thursday, January 11, 2024.
Rafi added that employees who are affected by layoffs will receive fair compensation in accordance with the relevant labor regulations in Indonesia.
Employees can still take advantage of health insurance, work facilities such as laptops provided by the office, and relationships to facilitate new work.
As information, Flip offers Money Transfer and International Transfer services through web dashboard platform or API integration (Application Programming Interface).
Flip invites the public to adopt a frugal lifestyle through the utilization of a solution that offers fee-free administrative transactions. Until January 2023, Flip has assisted over 13 million individual users and more than 1000 businesses or companies in processing various financial transactions.
