"Dream - The Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB), Abdullah Azwar Anas, leaked the initial stage of the transfer of civil servants (PNS) to the Nusantara IKN, which is set for mid-2024. This relocation process will be simultaneously followed by many ministries/agencies at the central level. However, not all civil servants in these institutions will migrate entirely at once."

"Previously, Anas also reported that the government will transfer 3,246 civil servants to the IKN in the first phase. The transfer will gradually begin in July-November 2024. "The first ASN to move will be from 37 ministries/agencies. Plans have been prepared for 1,740 residences for them," said Anas, Saturday, December 16, 2023."

"The transfer of civil servants to the IKN, according to him, is not just a physical relocation, but also a transformation in work culture and public services. Anas asked each ministry/institution to prepare the human resources that will move according to the needs of the positions and services based on their respective competencies."

"According to him, the transfer of civil servants to the IKN is a strategic step in strengthening public administration and supporting the vision of national development. The transfer to IKN also serves as a momentum for the implementation of effective and efficient governance."

The transfer process involves various efforts including the transformation of work methods or simplification of business processes, the implementation of digital governance, the arrangement of ASN management, and the strengthening of coordination between institutions, especially the involvement of regional ASN supporting IKN. \
