Sales and Marketing Director of PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI), Irwan Kuncoro, estimates that the Vehicle Purchase Order (VPO) for XForce has now reached more than 2,000 units.
"From GIIAS, we have already received more than 1,000 units. Then, we have conducted local launches in four to five cities. Actually, we are still counting the numbers. But, my estimate is that there are already more than 2,000 units."
Irwan said during the regional launch of XForce in Medan, North Sumatra, on Thursday, September 28, 2023.
Irwan explained that from the XForce SPK until now, it is still dominated by its highest variant. It is known that XForce is marketed in two variants, namely Exceed CVT and Ultimate CVT.
"If at GIIAS, around 80 percent of it is from Ultimate. I think, the trend in other cities may not be as much as in Jakarta. But, it can be said that Ultimate still dominates, especially because we launch in big cities."

Target 10 Thousand
According to him, maybe later, if the sales have been going on for a longer time and more widespread, the composition will change. But, for now, he continued, the composition is still the same. Seeing the market response so far, Mitsubishi is optimistic that it can achieve it.

XForce is locally produced at the Mitsubishi factory in Cikarang, Bekasi, starting from October 2023. As for the distribution of units, it will be carried out starting from November 2023.
XForce is targeting a total of dozens of major cities in its regional launch until the end of the year. This Honda HR-V competitor has officially hit the roads in Surabaya, Bandung, Pekanbaru, Riau, Denpasar, and Medan.
