Dream - Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN-RB), Abdullah Azwar Anas, stated that the central government needs 250,000 positions for fresh graduate civil servants selected according to digital talent to fill positions at IKN. This is a mandate from President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). Where, these 250,000 positions will undergo a preliminary test, which is planned for March 2024.

"The central government formation (IKN) consisting of 250,000 fresh graduates, including selected digital talents, is planned to start their tests in March," said Anas as quoted from Merdeka.com, Wednesday, January 31, 2024.
Anas mentioned, President Jokowi also assigned to immediately complete the secure smart ASN system that integrates all ASN services into one portal.
"So that civil servants immediately create a digital population identity, later the Single Sign On (SSO) will use it while others are completed in order for them to obtain services starting from performance evaluation, promotion, retirement, and so on, including education, training, and others, which can be integrated."

This application is targeted to be completed by July 2024, so that eventually all ministries will have one service portal, especially the government of the District/City.
