"Dream - The Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) has distributed the budget for Eid Allowance (THR) and the thirteenth salary to all its working units (Satker)."
The Director General of Islamic Education (Pendis), Muhammad Ali Ramdhani, also confirmed that his party will provide Eid al-Fitr bonus to Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers.
The budget allocation is in line with Government Regulation (PP) Number 14 of 2024 regarding the Provision of Holiday Allowance and 13th Salary to State Apparatus, Retirees, Pension Recipients, and 2024 Allowance Recipients.

According to him, currently there are two groups of Islamic Education teachers. First, Islamic Education teachers whose employment is appointed by the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Second, Islamic Education teachers whose appointment is carried out by the Regional Government (Pemda).
During this time, the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) has never differentiated the welfare of Islamic Education Teachers (Guru PAI) in terms of payment for the Teacher Professional Allowance (TPG). Every year, the budget reaches Rp4.5 trillion.

According to the Guidelines from the Ministry of Finance Number 15 of 2024, the Ministry of Religious Affairs is currently striving to distribute THR as soon as possible. "At the earliest, 10 days before the holiday. If it cannot be paid, THR can be paid after the holiday," said the Professor of UIN Bandung.
