Dream - Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani Indrawati reminded that the trend of Indonesia's economic condition in 2024 will be slightly different compared to other countries. Menkeu even referred to this difference as Agak Alen, like the title of a popular film.

He said, Indonesia's economy still shows positive performance amidst the unstable global conditions. This is evidenced by the report of the achievement of the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) until January 2024.

In the beginning of this year, the state revenue collected Rp215.5 trillion or 7.7 percent of the target, state expenditure Rp184.2 trillion or 5.5 percent of the budget. From these two indicators, the state's wallet or state budget still experiences a surplus of Rp31.3 trillion or 0.14 percent of the gross domestic product.

In the Instagram post @smindrawati, the treasurer of this country said that the projection of global economic growth in 2024 is still overshadowed by weakening. The International Monetary Fund or IMF projected only 3.1 percent, while the World Bank projected 2.4 percent.

Although the performance of the economy is positive compared to G20 countries or ASEAN, Minister Ani, who is often called Ani, reminds Indonesia to remain vigilant in the global situation that is still vulnerable and full of risks.
