Dream - Proverbial saving is the key to extreme wealth seems to be applied by a German man named Heinz B. Not a beggar, let alone without money, Heinz, who is a millionaire, prefers to get food from the trash rather than spend money.
Proof that Heinz is not a poor person is the presence of several property assets worth millions of euros. It is reported that he once withdrew money from his account amounting to 700 thousand euros (IDR 11.7 billion) to buy a new house, which became his tenth property asset.
However, when looking at his appearance, Heinz looks like a homeless person. However, looks can be deceiving. He has a background as a retiree from Darmstadt in southwestern Germany.
In 2021, he first made headlines when it was reported that he owned seven houses and two apartments. Heinz also had approximately US$540,000 (around Rp8.4 billion) in his bank account. Since then, he has continued to grow his wealth and recently invested 700 thousand to purchase a new house. This retired electrical engineer also has a monthly pension of 3,600 euros, as well as another pension of 156 euros.
Besides the 5 euros that he might spend on food every month, his expenses only include an internet connection for his laptop.
However, amidst the wealth he possessed, he admitted to having lived frugally throughout his life. He claimed that he did not really need money to survive. Heinz prefers to live off food found in the trash and hoard all sorts of discarded items from others.
The word Heinz recently told the German tabloid, Bild, quoted from Oddity Central, Thursday, February 22, 2024.
Heinz spends most of his time hoarding discarded items from others, pedaling his bike around Daarmstadt to search for new items.
"lanjutnya" in English is "continue."
"Heinz does not know to whom he will bequeath his wealth, as he lives without close family. He has some distant cousins, but he says that they cannot afford to pay inheritance tax, so he is considering bequeathing some properties to his tenants."
